I've been trying to paint my first space marines ever, of course I picked the canonical Ultramarines color scheme. I was fooled by the name of the color, which I knew had nothing to do with space marines at all, but for some reason I thought was the right way to go anyways.. The result was a hideous fluorescent look, that was still too flat an bright after multiple layers of shadowing.
